Our story
Balkania Tour was born from a deep attachment to Bulgaria and a meeting of two travel enthusiasts determined to showcase this country beyond conventional tours.
The agency was founded in 2005 in Pazardzhik, in the heart of Bulgaria. It was born from the partnership between Damien and Filip, the latter originally from the country. Since its inception, Balkania Tour has specialized in Bulgaria and has patiently built a network of local partners, exploring both classic itineraries and the more discreet valleys of the Balkans. From the outset, the agency has been committed to responsible, fair and sustainable tourism.
Today, Damien and Filip lead an English-speaking team that designs each trip from Pazardzhik. Custom itineraries for families and small groups, shared stays between travelers: every program is crafted with the same commitment — to listen, understand, adjust — and enriched by in-depth local knowledge, from mountain villages to Orthodox monasteries, from the Black Sea coast to the Rhodope massifs.

Yes, as much as possible. Changes made more than 30 days before departure are generally free of charge (excluding hotel rate differences). As your departure approaches, some bookings become less flexible — we always inform you of your options before confirmation.
