Explore Bulgaria through our tailor-made circuits, designed by Damien and his team from Sofia. Each itinerary is crafted to reveal the Orthodox monasteries of Rila, the peaks of Pirin at over 2900 m, the stone villages of the Rhodopes and the UNESCO old towns of Plovdiv and Nessebar. Whether you travel as a family, a couple or with friends, our circuits adapt to your pace and preferences, from the 10-day discovery circuit around Sofia, Plovdiv and Veliko Tarnovo, to the grand 3-week journey combining mountains, the Black Sea and Thracian culture. Travel with peace of mind with a local English-speaking agency based on site.

How to choose your trip to Bulgaria?
Bulgaria lends itself to compact itineraries thanks to reasonable distances: Sofia-Plovdiv in 1h30, Plovdiv-Veliko Tarnovo in 3 hours, Sofia-Bansko in 2h30. A 8 to 12-day format allows you to combine two strong regions, for example Sofia, Rila, Plovdiv and Veliko Tarnovo, or Sofia, Rhodopes and Black Sea coast. For a more complete journey including mountain ranges, the Valley of Roses and the Ropotamo delta, a 13 to 17-day itinerary gives you time to slow down and reach the remote Pomak villages deep in the Rhodopes.
Our team in Sofia adjusts itineraries according to your pace, favoring 2 to 3 nights per stop rather than daily changes.
Different types of trips
We design three families of itineraries. Cultural trips focus on Thracian, Byzantine and Orthodox heritage: Rila, Bachkovo and Troyan monasteries, Plovdiv old town, Kazanlak tombs. Adventure trips combine hiking in the Pirin and Rhodopes, Trigrad Gorge, backcountry skiing in Bansko in winter. Family trips alternate short visits, farm schools, horseback riding in the Valley of Roses and Sozopol beaches, a format suited for children from 6 years old.
What is the best season?
From May to mid-October, the country can be explored in ideal conditions. May and June offer roses in bloom, temperatures of 22 to 26°C and green mountain ranges. July-August reach 30-32°C in the plains, perfect for the Black Sea at 24°C but more crowded. September remains our favorite month: stable skies, grape harvests in the Melnik region, fewer crowds. In winter, from December to March, skiing is ideal at Bansko and Borovets with reliable snowfall above 1500 m.
